pieces, of letters to a love long past.

When you return to be held by my arms,

and lips warm against your skin.

Fingertips graze your soft cheek.

That will be the day I envy no other,

and know happiness devine. -

These months apart, have been more melancholy than the year we spent together.

I love you ____, I wouldn't sacrifice that for anything. To do so would be a life left wanting, full of miserable regret. An existence lackluster and wandering.-

Your voice lacks the love it once sang with.

I fear your heart has wandered,

willfully towards more primal comforts.

Its only been five of our six months apart,

and yet you make promises to break, speak words which lack the care I know you capable of.

If you lie, and disregard someone you once claimed to so love, promised to wed, how then can you be happy in the arms of another?

Absence has not made your heart grow fonder,

Ponder, do I as this love has been left fallow in the sun.

As the summer burned its brightest for us, the moon now dissapears, as to show no future for the love we vowed.
